Quick iPad review:
- Amazing screen
- Stunning battery life: watched a 2 hour movie, Safari for hours with the iPod on, many games, 25 pages of Moby Dick and still 53%
- Fast, fast fast (maps, Safari, games, movies…)
- The iPad is a beautiful object: surprisingly small and heavy
- The iBook app is a game changer in the eBook industry. It actually made me want to read a book right away.
- Important learning curve to type correctly
- Where is Command + Z ?!
- Lost the Home button many times
- Impossible to cope with the x2 resolution for iPhone apps
- I use YouTube a lot more, the experience is great
- Mail.app and Gmail iPad both are fantastic
- Browsing the web is really great
- Constant screen rotation/ locking is a bit frustrating
- The Marvel app is fantastic, best iPad app so far
- The iPad AppStore is a mess
- Still an entertainment device
Not a revolution, but so much nice little things that the magic works.
